Onion Cutting Tip


I don’t know about you, but I hate cutting onions! They make you cry like a little baby. So here are some tips to help prevent the water works every time you have to slice an onion. You can store onions in your refrigerator; this will cool them down and prevent the build up of sulfuric acid. Or, if you have ice water on hand simply take the whole onion and submerse it for about 30 seconds before slicing. If for some reason you don’t have either of those try chewing a piece of bread as you cut the onion. Weird, I know, but it works.
